Stoller is pleased to announce that Maurício Andrião, Stoller South Africa General Manager, joins the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) team as EMEA Business and Marketing Director. Together with Sergio Aguilar, Stoller Europe General Manager and Regional Vice President of Subsidiaries for EMEA will be responsible for developing this important region within the Stoller Group’s growth and expansion strategy.

Maurício studied Agronomy at the University of the State of São Paulo, where he also obtained a Master’s Degree in Horticulture. During his training he focused on plant nutrition and physiology.

Early in his career he worked as a project consultant helping companies in the development of natural pesticides. This allowed him to gain international experience in Germany and France. He managed to become Technical Manager of the largest company in Brazil Tecnutri – ForthJardim. Later, he joined Stoller Brazil, where he worked for seven years in different positions until he became Regional Business Manager in the East and Northeast region. In 2017, he accepted the international challenge of leading the Business Area at SZA and, two years later, he assumed the position of  General Manager of SZA.

After ten years of experience at Stoller, Maurício joins the EMEA team, which will share headquarters with the Stoller Europe Team, from where they will work to continue promoting this important region within the Stoller Group’s development and growth strategy.
