Stoller is pleased to introduce Juan Carlos Buitrago-Suarez as the new Global Director of Marketing for Stoller International.
With over 25 years of marketing/sales experience at Monsanto, Juan Carlos has become a strategic and diversified marketing and commercial leader in the crop inputs business with international experience including South America, Central America, the European Union, and Asia. As the Roundup global product manager, he was responsible for the overall corporate strategy and brand positioning as well as local customization and implementation in all local business regions. In his latest position with Bayer/Monsanto, he was responsible for the BioAg Alliance, an entrepreneurial venture with Novozymes developing strategies and marketing plans utilizing his experience in category development, segmentation, positioning, and new products go-to-market strategies.
In his position at Stoller, Juan Carlos will be responsible for formulating and delivering the marketing strategy on a global scale while preserving specific local needs. Additional responsibilities include leading the brand communication strategy, brand positioning, development of communication and marketing materials and conducting market research.
Juan Carlos received his undergraduate degree from the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia and has a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University in the U.S. Juan Carlos will be relocating to Houston from St. Louis, Missouri.
