Stoller is pleased to introduce Mario Carrillo, Stoller USA National Commercial Director. Mario brings over 20 years of agriculture experience into the role that will manage and lead sales, account management and business development.
Mario most recently was the Area Business Manager, for the Western and Southeast U.S. at Compass Minerals, a company focused on specialty nutrition. Mario also served as Vice President, Agronomic Services for Smartfield, Inc., a remote sensing technology provider. In addition, he held several positions with Chromatin Inc. including Director – Biomass Production Research; Director – Agronomy and Director – Strategic Seed Projects. Mario began his career with Monsanto Company and held several positions including Technology Development Representative; U.S. Technology Development Manager- Specialty Crops and U.S. Product Development Manager (DEKALB Genetics). Mario will report to Greg Warren, Regional Vice President – Subsidiaries.
Mario earned his Bachelor of Science, Crop Protection from Pan-American School of Agriculture in Honduras. Mario earned a Master of Science, Entomology, Mississippi State University and Ph.D., Entomology from University of Minnesota. He holds several professional certifications including Certified Crop Advisor and Certified Professional Agronomist.
